About the Venue: We are a distinguished and multifaceted hospitality destination in the heart of East London, renowned for its quirky pub designs, and cutting-edge karaoke rooms.
The Role: We are seeking an inspirational and highly accomplished General Manager to lead our dedicated team. This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for the entire operational success of our iconic venue. The General Manager will be the driving force behind our commitment to excellence, ensuring the highest standards of service, profitability, and guest satisfaction across all departments – including our multiple F&B outlets, dynamic karaoke experiences, and events.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive leadership experience in a high-volume, multi-outlet hospitality and entertainment environment, with at least 3-5 years as a General Manager.
  • Proven track record of driving financial performance, enhancing guest satisfaction, and building high-performing teams.
  • Strong business acumen with a deep understanding of P&L management, revenue generation, and cost control.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of food & beverage management, event planning, and entertainment venue operations (e.g., karaoke, live music venues).
  • Proficiency in hospitality management software and systems.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve business objectives, drive revenue growth, and enhance the venue’s reputation.
  • Operational Excellence: Oversee all operational aspects, ensuring seamless coordination between departments and consistently high standards of service delivery. This includes optimizing the operation and guest experience of our karaoke rooms.
  • Financial Performance: Manage budgets, control costs, optimize revenue streams, and identify opportunities for increased profitability. Report on financial performance and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Recruit, train, motivate, and mentor a high-performing team. Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Conduct regular performance reviews and provideongoing coaching.
  • Guest Experience: Champion a guest-centric approach, ensuring exceptional service and personalized experiences that exceed expectations, particularly within our unique entertainment offerings. Proactively address guest feedback and resolve issues effectively.
  • Brand Ambassador: Represent the venue with professionalism and integrity, maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders, suppliers, and the local community.
  • Compliance & Safety: Ensure adherence to all health, safety, licensing, and regulatory requirements. Implement best practices for risk management and security.
  • Sales & Marketing Collaboration: Work closely with sales and marketing teams to develop and implement strategies that attract and retain guests, drive footfall, and enhance brand visibility, with a particular focus on promoting our karaoke and entertainment facilities.
  • Property Management: Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of the property, ensuring a safe, clean, and aesthetically pleasing environment for guests and staff.
