JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our restaurant. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of the food industry, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. As the General Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that all aspects of the restaurant run smoothly, from managing staff to maintaining high standards of food quality and safety.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience in restaurant management or related field within the food industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.
  • Knowledge of food handling practices and health regulations in the food service industry.
  • Excellent supervisory skills with experience in training and mentoring staff.
  • Proficient in cash handling procedures with attention to detail in financial transactions.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with staff and customers.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage all restaurant operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Supervise and train staff, fostering a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth.
  • Oversee food handling procedures to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
  • Manage cash handling processes, including daily reconciliations and financial reporting.
  • Conduct interviews and hire new staff to build a strong team aligned with our restaurant’s values.
  • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency.
  • Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to ensure smooth operations.
  • Address customer inquiries and complaints promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to promote special events and menu items.
