Company profile : https://www.segulatechnologies.com/en/ Job Description Main Mission Lead and manage all facilities operations across Mozambique , ensuring compliance, efficiency, and profitability. Oversee key infrastructure including slops treatment units, thermal desorption units (TDU/TCC), laboratories, sewage treatment plants, incinerators, and waste acceptance processes. Drive strategic development, operational excellence, and SHEQ compliance while fostering client relationships and business growth. Key Responsibilities Safety, Health & Environment (SHEQ) Ensure compliant handling, treatment, and disposal of waste in line with regulatory standards. Enforce SHEQ requirements for employees, contractors, and visitors. Develop and implement safe work procedures and emergency response plans. Investigate incidents and occupational illnesses; implement preventive measures. Conduct hazard identification and risk assessments. Manage legal compliance and corrective actions from audits. Allocate resources for emergency equipment and training. Exercise Stop Work authority when unsafe conditions or behaviours occur. Facility Operations Lead a high-performing environmental solutions team within the oil and gas sector. Direct and optimize operations across multiple treatment facilities. Ensure waste handling and treatment meet regulatory and client requirements. Drive process improvements and implement innovative solutions. Oversee environmental audits and ensure timely, accurate reporting. Align all activities with client and MozEnv standards. Financial Management Managing and controlling the expenditure of the Facilities according to financial procedures to minimize expenditure. Develop and manage annual budgets for facilities. Monitor financial performance, control overheads, and ensure profitability. Provide accurate and timely reporting to Head Office. People Management Lead and mentor Staff, supervisors and operational teams across sites. Support HR initiatives including recruitment, training, and succession planning. Address personnel matters and escalate critical issues promptly. Foster a culture of safety, performance, and continuous development. Management, Client & Stakeholder Engagement Ensure that all relevant superiors are promptly informed about any aspects of your facilities that they consider necessary. Maintain strong relationships with clients and suppliers. Support business development through tenders and technical proposals. Represent the company in technical and commercial meetings. Skills & Profile Degree/Diploma in Engineering, Environmental Management, or related field. Strong knowledge of waste treatment, oil & gas environmental practices, and SHEQ laws. Experience in managing complex facilities and multidisciplinary teams. Financial acumen and budget control expertise. Leadership, communication, and negotiation skills. Familiarity with environmental management systems and operational software. Additional Information Additional Requirements Willingness to travel between facilities (20–25%). Mandatory training: Site induction, waste handling, EMS, IMS, and client-specific courses.
