We are a Cultural Embassy that invites guests to seek the extraordinary, shaping worlds that feel profoundly personal, welcoming, and alive. “At Wadi Safar, we are shaping a new world where art, architecture, and nature live in harmony. Guided by a shared respect for culture and craft, this collaboration with Diriyah Company reflects our belief that beauty can elevate everyday life and inspire a new way of living.” — Alan Faena Job Description The Role As General Manager of Faena Wadi Safar, you will orchestrate the pre‑opening and lead the property into a vibrant, enduring rhythm. You will champion an ethos of artistry and community—curating immersive storytelling, rituals, and moments that transform a stay into a memory and guests into lifelong advocates. At the heart of the community, Faena Hotel Wadi Safar embodies a world where unbound expression meets masterful craft. Here, 130 guestrooms and branded Residences radiate Faena’s bold character in harmony with the land, while residents are invited into a realm of enriching gathering spaces, spa and wellness sanctuaries, signature dining, and a performance theatre presenting shows and artistic collaborations. What you will create Pre‑opening mastery: Build and steer the full pre‑opening journey—from critical paths and OS&E readiness to talent, training, and culture—so opening day feels inevitable and effortless. A living cultural program: Shape the hotel as a cultural epicenter—from butler‑led signature service to nightlife, dining, wellness, and residencies—designing experiences that are elegant, sensorial, and deeply human. A house of community: Foster collaborations with artists, creators, and Diriyah partners to ground Faena’s world in the spirit of place and Saudi creativity. Performance with soul: Hold the dual mandate of artistry and accountability—protecting brand standards while delivering commercial excellence, disciplined cost leadership, and owner trust. Iconic teams: Recruit, inspire, and develop a high‑performing leadership cadre with the warmth, precision, and presence that define ultra‑luxury. Ideally experienced in Saudi Arabia or the GCC, with cultural fluency, stakeholder maturity, and a confident understanding of regulatory and localization priorities. An inspiring culture‑builder who leads through story, design, and detail—turning standards into rituals and service into theatre. Commercially exacting: strong P&L command, revenue architecture, market positioning, and owner relations. A clear, compelling communicator—equally at ease on the floor, in the community, and in the boardroom. Arabic a plus; English required. Additional Information The Faena craft you’ll steward Signature service that feels personal and ceremonial, anticipating desires before they’re voiced. Design‑led experiences that choreograph every touchpoint—arrival, room, private bar, wellness, dining, nightlife—into a coherent story.
