There's a lot happening at Huon – and plenty of passionate people making it happen!
Proudly Tasmanian, Huon Aquaculture has grown from a small family-owned business into Australia's leading salmon producer. Today, we're part of a bigger family, JBS, one of the world's largest food companies, combining our Tasmanian heritage with the scale and opportunities of a global organisation.
We're a complex, vertically integrated business where commercial thinking and innovation make a real difference.
And that's where you come in.
The Opportunity
We're looking for an accomplished and commercially minded General Manager Finance to join our Executive Leadership Team and help shape Huon's future.
Reporting to the CEO, you'll lead our finance, commercial, contracts and procurement functions, partnering with leaders and stakeholders across the business to influence strategy, challenge thinking and drive performance.
You'll combine true commercial acumen with a genuine understanding of the operational drivers, turning insights into decisions that deliver results.
What You'll Be Driving
About You
We're looking for a finance executive who sees the bigger picture and knows that great business outcomes come from strong relationships, collaboration and a little personality!
Our Executive Team is a dynamic, down-to-earth group who love what they do. They thrive on a challenge, enjoy tackling complex problems together and aren't afraid to challenge thinking along the way. You'll fit right in if you're confident, approachable, collaborative and bring a good sense of humour to the table.
You'll also work closely with the JBS CFO and Finance teams, balancing local business priorities with the opportunities of a global organisation.
You'll bring:
