Are you a dynamic hospitality leader with a passion for excellence? DoubleTree by Hilton Edmonton Downtown is looking for an experienced and driven General Manager to lead our team and elevate guest experiences.
About the Role:
As General Manager, you’ll be responsible for overseeing all aspects of hotel operations—from guest services and team leadership to financial performance and strategic planning. This is a high-impact role for someone ready to shape the future of one of Edmonton’s premier hotel destinations.

Core Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations to ensure profitability, guest satisfaction, and employee engagement.
  • Manage all departments to ensure operational excellence, service standards, and compliance with regulations.
  • Lead and mentor department heads to foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and implement business strategies to increase revenue, occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, and GOP.
  • Ensure top-tier guest service and handle VIP or escalated guest issues personally.
  • Work closely with Sales & Marketing to maximize occupancy and event business.
  • Monitor financial performance, control expenses, and manage budget forecasts and P&L statements.
  • Maintain compliance with local, provincial and federal laws and brand standards.
  • Represent the hotel in the community and build strategic relationships with key stakeholders.

WORK EXPERIENCE
