Extensive hotel management experience and experience in sales leadership, revenue generation, and food & beverage operations is required to successfully lead this hotel.   DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES  * Serve as the strategic business leader of the hotel. Own accountability for overall performance. * Serve as the standard-bearer for GHC culture and IHG/Crowne Plaza standards in your day-to-day leadership and direction.   * Demonstrate brand citizenship by maintaining compliance with all required brand standards, behaviors, hallmarks and license agreement mandates. * Provide vision, leadership, and strategic direction to the hotel leadership team and ensure their accountability and ownership for their respective departments. * Guide, coach, and support team to reach sales and revenue goals. * Maintain a laser focus on exceeding guest satisfaction goals and driving team member engagement and retention. * Develop, implement and monitor team member succession planning to ensure future bench strength. Establish performance and development goals for team members and provide mentoring, coaching and regular feedback to enhance performance. * Lead capital plans and asset management initiatives, providing proactive communication to executives and ownership as you improve property’s market leadership position. * Manage the maintenance of our historic building. * Ensure a safe and secure environment for guests and team members. * Maintain an active presence in the downtown Indianapolis business community. * Perform other duties as assigned or required.  QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS  * Demonstrated ability to deliver financial results * Effective financial managements skills, including P&L analysis, developing and meeting budgets, forecasting, and capex planning * Consistent achievement in building, influencing, and developing a cohesive and effective team * Proven performance in exceeding Guest Satisfaction and Team Member Engagement scores * Ability to effectively manage labor productivity * Strong leadership experience and ability to effectively manage hotel sales and F&B leadership teams * Bachelor’s degree / higher education qualification / equivalent in Hotel Administration, Business Administration, plus five to ten years prior hotel management experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. * Must speak and write fluent English.  BENEFITS * Incentive Plan * Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Options * Company Paid Life Insurance * Company Paid Telemedicine * Supplemental Life Insurance * 401(k) with company match * Hotel Discounts * Earned Wage Access (“on-demand pay”) * Company Paid Employee Assistance Program * Perks through Benefit Hub * Generous Time Off Package The Crowne Plaza Indianapolis Downtown Union Station is managed by General Hotels Corporation. General Hotels Corporation is committed to enriching lives through award-winning hospitality.
