CASETiFY is seeking a high-caliber General Manager (GM) for Greater China to serve as the primary architect of our growth across Mainland China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan. This leader will bridge the gap between our global headquarters and the world’s most dynamic retail ecosystem, focusing on high-level strategy, cultural navigation, and aggressive operational scaling. The successful candidate must be a proven business leader with deep roots in the Mainland China market, capable of driving exponential growth through localized product selection, impactful marketing, and the leadership of a large, multi-functional organization. Reports to : Chief Operating Officer (Global HQ) Direct teams : Brand Marketing Director, Retail Director, E-commerce/ Marketplace Director, Human Resources, Finance Job Description Strategic Market Leadership & Brand Guardianship Greater China Strategy: Lead the expansion and P&L for Mainland China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan, with a primary focus on scaling the China business. Brand Localization: Translate the "soul" of the CASETiFY brand for the Chinese consumer while maintaining global brand integrity. Regulatory & Cultural Navigation: Build frameworks to protect the brand and ensure compliance with unique local challenges, including content regulation and market-specific legalities. Global-Local Bridge (Reporting to COO) HQ Stakeholder Management: Report directly to the Chief Operating Officer. Use data and cultural insights to influence global product directions and initiatives requiring local adaptation. Cultural Translation: Modify global corporate standards and processes to fit the local context without sacrificing the speed-to-market required in China. P&L Mastery & Growth Acceleration Scale & Growth: Take full accountability for a P&L of USD 100M+, with a proven track record of delivering significant, measurable growth during your tenure. Data-Driven Decisions: Turn raw data into actionable insights, identifying key levers across logistics, tech, and marketing to hit aggressive growth targets. High-Performance & Multi-Level Leadership Organizational Leadership: Lead an established workforce of 100+ staff in China. Direct Management: Oversee and mentor a senior leadership team, including the Brand Marketing Director, Retail Director, E-Commerce & Marketplace Director, HR, and Finance. True Omni-channel Excellence Marketplace & Retail: Drive a seamless strategy across physical retail and digital platforms. Deep experience in the China Marketplace ecosystem (Tmall, TikTok/Douyin, etc.) is highly preferred. Expansion: Define metrics for physical stores and digital growth to ensure CASETiFY dominates all consumer touchpoints. Requirement Market Experience: Extensive experience operating within Mainland China is essential. Broader Greater China (HK/TW) experience is a significant plus. Industry Expertise: A must-have background in Retail. Mastery of the China marketplace and e-commerce ecosystem is strongly preferred. Financial Track Record: Proven experience managing a P&L of USD 100M or above, with a history of driving significant revenue and brand growth. Leadership Breadth: Experience leading large teams (100+) and managing a diverse group of senior functional heads (Marketing, Retail, Finance, etc.). Strategic Agility: Ability to manage long-term strategic projects while simultaneously navigating high-velocity operational crises. Communication: Fluent in English and Mandarin; able to communicate concisely to align a remote global HQ with a fast-moving local team. EQ & Grit: High emotional intelligence to manage up to HQ and the resilience to lead a high-pressure, high-growth market.
