Description

We are seeking an experienced General Manager with a passion for leadership and exceptional customer service to join our team. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, manage day-to-day activities, and collaborate with staff to deliver an outstanding dining experience. Your strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills will be essential in maintaining operational efficiency, driving profitability, and ensuring guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities
  • Champions the brand’s vision and values and contribute to maintaining a strong culture and healthy working environment
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the restaurant, including dining services, kitchen operations, and guest interactions.
  • Monitors adherence to health, safety, and hygiene standards within the location, ensures compliance with restaurant security procedures, inclusive of alcohol regulations, ensures a safe working environment by facilitating safe work behaviours of the team and guests, maintains safe, secure, and healthy facility environment by establishing, following, and enforcing sanitation standards and procedures; complying with health and legal regulations; maintaining security systems
  • Prepares and implements standard operating procedures, coordinates restaurant operations during each shift, determines and implements operating improvements
  • Manage restaurant schedules to optimize staffing levels while maintaining labor cost goals.
  • Prepare and manage budgets, monitor financial performance, and ensure revenue and profitability targets are met.
  • Analyze sales trends, customer feedback, and market conditions to identify growth opportunities.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive sales, increase average checks, and improve overall profitability.
  • Appropriately adapts to seasonal changes and creates and manages relevant initiatives
  • Oversee inventory management, including ordering, receiving, and controlling costs.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor a team of front-of-house and back-of-house staff, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
  • Manages all aspects of staff performance in accordance with established service standards, ensures staff knows and adheres to established steps of service and service standards
  • Ensure exceptional guest satisfaction by addressing concerns promptly and maintaining high service standards.
  • Collaborate with the hotel management team to align restaurant goals with overall property objectives.
  • Act as a visible presence in the restaurant, engaging with guests and building strong relationships.
  • Work with the marketing team to develop and execute promotional campaigns, special events, and menu launches.
  • Monitor online reviews and guest feedback to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensure repairs, maintenance, and preventative maintenance plan for the building, facility, and grounds as per the Purchasing Manager
  • Recruit, interview, and hire team members; conduct performance appraisals, take disciplinary action, motivate and train
