The GM is a full P&L position reporting to the Group President and is responsible for all aspects of business operations, engineering, manufacturing and quality. This position develops and monitors strategy and tactics to meet market needs and expand margins, and creates, aligns and drives objectives that lead strong execution on all business fronts. The candidate must be an energetic and highly engaged, growth-oriented leader who is broadly interested and engages in all areas of the business. The GM must have a strong focus on internal operations and be keenly interested in a business where customer satisfaction and the P&L reflect exceptional management of manufacturing operations. Candidate should have a strong understanding of KPMS (quality, on time, cycle time and productivity) and the ability to drive standardization, inventory management, and project implementation across the site. Candidates whose career experience includes important roles as well as P&L responsibilities in aviation would be well advantaged. Key Deliverables of Position 1) Drive earnings growth targets to meet business objectives 2) Through collaboration with the right people, lead and drive continuous improvement for all facets of the business. a. Direct the development, planning, implementation of lean manufacturing improvements b. Develop methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for projects, programs, and people 3) Provide proactive leadership necessary to drive, develop and monitor critical metrics. a. Spot issues and opportunities in time to impact month-end results b. Drive Labor Utilization and Efficiency through the facility c. Drive profitability and maximize margins 4) Develop a cohesive and talented staff; nurture our winning culture a. Establish and support positive employee relations and employee involvement to ensure teamwork and positive morale b. Play a significant role in the hiring and onboarding of talent c.
