About the role | Mō te tūranga As General Manager Health Services, you will: Provide strategic and operational leadership across health and disability services, Everil Orr, and Rotorua Mental Health & Addictions. Ensure delivery of high-quality, person-centred, and culturally responsive care aligned with our mission and values. Lead a team of Service Managers and foster a positive, high-performance culture. Drive strategic planning, compliance, financial sustainability, and stakeholder engagement. Champion our bi-cultural journey, embedding Te Tiriti o Waitangi principles in all aspects of service delivery. Duties | Mahi Leads the development and implementation of strategic plans for health services. Facilitate and support relationships between Service Managers and The Three Trust teams in order to develop quality practices across the organisation and best outcomes for the people we support. Establish and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, including other health providers, community organisations, iwi and funding bodies. Explore funding options to provide services relevant to The Three Trusts strategic plan. Preserve and promote the values and theology of the MMN as it relates to social justice issues and ‘cycles of hope’. Provide leadership, coaching and mentoring to Service Managers and ensure that a positive team culture across the whole staff team is developed. Skills & Experience | Pukenga & wheako A relevant health-related qualification and strong knowledge of the NZ health sector. Proven leadership experience (5+ years) in managing people, budgets, and projects. Expertise in clinical management, risk management, and quality improvement. A genuine commitment to cultural responsiveness and community engagement. Strong communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.
