General Manager | Holiday Inn Express & Suites Phuket Bangtao An opportunity to lead a pre-opening hotel in one of Phuket’s most established and fast-evolving resort destinations. Located in Bangtao on Phuket’s west coast, the hotel sits within a well-established integrated destination of hotels, residences, retail, and lifestyle offerings. The area continues to attract a diverse mix of international travellers, offering a strong and growing market environment. With an opening planned for Q1 2027, this role presents the opportunity to shape the hotel from the early stages through to launch and beyond. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The role • Lead the pre-opening phase through to a successful hotel launch and stabilised operations • Take ownership of commercial performance and overall P&L outcomes • Establish the hotel’s market presence and drive demand across key segments • Partner closely with ownership to deliver performance and long-term asset value • Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing team from the ground up • Create a culture aligned with brand values and deliver a consistent guest experience -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- What we need from you • Proven hotel leadership experience with a commercial and strategic mindset • Track record of driving performance and delivering results • Experience in pre-opening, repositioning, or growth environments is an advantage • Confident stakeholder management with owners and stakeholders • Strong understanding of the Phuket market or similar leisure-driven destinations is expected • In-depth knowledge of the local operating environment is preferred • Fluent in English; proficiency in Thai is a strong asset -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- What we offer The opportunity to take on a pre-opening leadership role with IHG Hotels & Resorts in a high-demand destination.
