We are now seeking an experienced General Manager – HSEQ & Sustainability to join our management team and drive our next phase of strategic growth and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

Reporting directly to the Executive GM - Commercial and Corporate, this senior leadership position will set the direction for the organisation’s Health, Safety, Environment, Quality (HSEQ) and Sustainability strategies. You will champion a strong safety culture, embed sustainability principles across the business, and ensure compliance with industry standards and legislative requirements.
This is a role for a proactive, high-impact leader who can influence at all levels, drive cultural change, and deliver measurable performance improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of the company’s HSEQ & Sustainability strategy.
  • Provide expert advice to the Executive Team and broader management team on emerging risks, compliance trends, and improvement opportunities.
  • Oversee ISO accreditations (ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 9001) and Federal Safety (OFSC) and ensure continual improvement.
  • Embed sustainability into business planning, tendering, project delivery, and supply chain management.
  • Mentor, lead, and develop your team.
  • Represent the company with regulatory bodies, clients, and industry forums.
  • Monitor and report on performance against key metrics and benchmarks.
