Job Description
The ibis Porto Centro São Bento is a hotel located in the heart of Porto, Portugal. It offers 77 modern, soundproofed rooms equipped with air conditioning, satellite TV, and en suite bathrooms with hairdryers. The hotel’s central location makes it convenient for guests to explore Porto’s historic district and main tourist attractions. It is situated near the Bolhão Metro Station, providing easy access to public transportation.

Proven experience in the hospitality industry.

  • Credibility as a point of reference for hotel staff and stakeholders.
  • Solid managerial skills to unite the team around shared objectives, with a focus on quality and financial goals.
  • Fluency in Portuguese and English; additional languages are a plus
Responsibilities

As the General Manager of our hotel, your key responsibilities will include:

Leading as the primary strategic business leader, ensuring exceptional hotel operations that prioritize customer satisfaction for guests, employees, corporate partners, and owners, while meeting or exceeding financial targets.

  • Upholding the highest quality of service and embodying the Ibis brand ethos.
  • Enhancing RevPar through effective management of diverse sales channels.
  • Inspiring the team by exemplifying the Heartist spirit.
  • Ensuring excellence in our Accommodation & Catering offerings.
  • Implementing and monitoring procedures to maintain high standards.
  • Upholding labor relations, health, and safety regulations.
  • Acting as a representative of Accor and the hotel owner in all relevant matters.
