Job Description The Industrial Service General Manager, Mexico, leads the Business Unit with full P&L responsibility for service operations and service sales. This leadership position oversees service technicians and their management team, as well as the sales staff that sells inspections, maintenance, repairs, modernizations, parts, and supplies in Mexico. This role is responsible for driving profitable growth by strengthening the market position throughout Mexico, enhancing service excellence, and optimizing operational performance. This position combines strategic leadership with strong operational accountability, ensuring alignment with business objectives, fostering cross-BU collaboration, and managing a large customer network. A strong safety mindset is a core responsibility of the role, ensuring that all operations are conducted in line with the highest safety standards and that a proactive safety culture is embedded across the organization. Demonstrated leadership capability in leading an operational service team, with the ability to inspire and align teams, is essential to advancing business growth, enhancing customer satisfaction, and delivering sustainable results. Key Responsibilities: Lead the Industrial Service Business Unit, with full accountability for strategic direction, operational performance, and financial results, ensuring alignment with the company's overall objectives. Define and drive the business strategy to achieve sustainable growth, expand market share throughout Mexico, and improve profitability across the service portfolio. Championing a strong safety culture across the Business Unit, ensuring compliance with all health, safety, and environmental standards, and promoting proactive risk management across all operations. Oversee and develop a high-performing leadership team, providing direction, coaching, and governance to ensure consistent execution and build capabilities across service areas. Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure effective performance management frameworks are in place, driving accountability and results. Drive operational excellence by optimizing processes, boosting productivity, and ensuring high-quality customer service. Collaborate closely with commercial teams and senior leadership to strengthen customer relationships and improve overall business performance. Lead workforce planning and talent management strategies, including recruitment, development, and succession planning for key roles. Oversee financial planning and budget management to ensure strong cost control, resource allocation, and the Business Unit's overall financial health. Provide strategic oversight of major projects and initiatives, ensuring execution aligns with business priorities and delivers expected outcomes. Foster cross-functional and cross-BU collaboration to ensure alignment, scalability, and consistency of service offerings across markets. Ensure compliance with company policies, governance standards, and relevant regulatory requirements. Qualifications Minimum 10 years of experience in managing service operations or in similar roles, with extensive leadership experience. A bachelor’s Degree is required Master’s degree in Operations, Management, or MBA is preferred. Strong business acumen and analytical capabilities. Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills. Positive attitude, proactive approach to challenges, and a solution-oriented mindset. Fluent in both Spanish and English (written and spoken) Knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally.
