Job Description YOUR MISSION: As the General Manager / CEO of Ivory Coast, you will have the unique opportunity to scale one of Glovo’s most strategic and fastest-growing markets in Africa while maintaining and strengthening our leadership position in the category. You will lead the next chapter of growth for the country by: Doubling market penetration over the next ~3 years Doubling the size of the business over the next ~3 years Protecting and growing market share against key competitors Building a world-class talent house in Ivory Coast This is an exciting opportunity for a senior leader who is hands-on, analytical, data-driven and obsessed with operational and commercial excellence. You will combine strategic thinking with flawless execution to continuously improve country performance and unlock the next level of growth. IN THIS JOURNEY YOU WILL: Devise and implement the long-term strategy for Ivory Coast, driving sustainable growth and market development Own and proactively manage the full country P&L and business objectives Analyze business and financial data to make key strategic decisions, deep dive into challenges and drive problem solving Oversee multiple departments and areas of responsibility including Commercial, Q-Commerce, Brands Ads, Marketing, Operations and Finance Lead, develop and inspire a team of 40+ individuals across all functions Hire top talent and help teams grow, perform and develop professionally Build and maintain relationships with CEOs of top restaurant groups, retailers, CPG and financial institutions Identify new business opportunities, anticipate risks and continuously improve processes Establish and maintain relationships with regulators, unions and government stakeholders Act as the legal representative of Glovo in the country Qualifications 10+ years of experience in high-performance and fast-paced environments such as consulting, investment banking, top technology companies or startups Proven leadership experience managing cross-functional teams of 25+ people, hiring senior leaders and building high-performing organizations Strong P&L management experience across multiple business functions including commercial, operations, marketing and finance Ability to inspire teams and senior leaders while continuously raising the performance bar and driving a culture of excellence Strategic, analytical and data-driven mindset combined with strong operational execution and a hypothesis-led approach to problem solving and decision making Exceptional stakeholder management, negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to influence C-level partners, global teams, couriers and small businesses alike Strong project management and organizational capabilities, with a detail-oriented approach and the ability to thrive in dynamic and fast-changing environments Strong ownership mentality, bias for action and commitment to the highest standards, paired with excellent written and spoken English and French skills Additional Information At Glovo, your success is defined by both results and behaviors.
