Your Opportunity We are looking for General Manager to join our Talent Pool for potential opportunities with Serco across various contracts in the UAE. Key Accountabilities Report to the Citizen Services & Defense Operations Director, managing stakeholder relationships across a wide range of client representatives. Oversee the overall delivery and performance of a multiservice IFM contract, including Estates Management, Support Services, and Soft Services. Drive and deliver transformation programs for second-generation IFM service delivery contracts Ensure the implementation of integrated asset management technology platforms, delivered on time and fully functional as per contract commitments. Manage Serco’s Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and their appointed specialist providers Lead “Operational Excellence” initiatives by adopting and implementing LEAN strategies and processes Knowledge of both international and local (UAE) statutory and legislated requirements for managing large properties Specific Requirements Minimum of 10 years of experience managing within a Facilities Management (FM) environment At least 5 years of experience managing multi-disciplined people managers, including support functions (e.g., finance, procurement). Proven ability to lead a diverse, multi-cultured, multi-disciplined workforce to achieve high-quality service delivery In-depth knowledge of asset management, including delivery of ISO 55001 standards Extensive experience with CAFM systems such as FSI Concept Evolution, IBM Maximo, or Tririga Demonstrated ability to deliver digital asset management strategies Financial management expertise, with a proven ability to control and meet budget objectives Degree in Facilities Management or Engineering Join Us At Serco, we believe there is a place here for everyone.
