• Overseeing daily operations of the pub/restaurant/hotel ensuring smooth and efficient service.
• Managing and creating staff rotas to maintain adequate coverage and meet business demands.
• Complying with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and maintaining high standards of health, safety, and hygiene.
• Leading and motivating the team to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Handling staff training, development, and performance management to foster a positive and productive work environment.
• Ensuring stock is well-managed, including ordering, maintaining inventory levels, and minimising waste.
• Managing budgets, monitoring revenue and expenses, and working towards achieving financial targets.
• Maintaining compliance with licensing laws and regulations.
• Addressing customer feedback promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction.
• Organising and promoting events or specials to attract customers and increase revenue.
• Being a hands-on leader by assisting with day-to-day tasks, including serving customers and ensuring smooth service during peak times.
