Description

Due to continued growth, we’re expanding our team and looking for an experienced General Manager to join Keller Warehousing & Co-Packing. This position will serve as both an Operational Leader and an Account Manager for one or more key customers, ensuring seamless execution, strong communication, and high service levels across multiple warehouse locations.
The General Manager is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations across assigned sites, driving performance in safety, service, productivity, and profitability. This individual will lead warehouse teams, manage customer and vendor relationships, and implement standard processes aligned with company objectives. In addition to leading site operations, this role will serve as a primary point of contact for customer(s), collaborating closely to meet contract goals and resolve issues proactively.
This is a high-visibility, high-impact role that requires regular travel to warehouse locations. Candidates must live near an existing Keller site or within close proximity to a major airport hub to support easy travel.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Extensive working knowledge of warehouse operations (pallet in pallet out, pick and pack, material fulfillment, inventory management, Warehouse Management Systems (“WMS”) and RF Equipment).
  • Skilled in the use of computers and the internet, preferably in a PC, Windows-based operating environment. Mastery skills in MS Office, particularly MS Excel, and other data analysis tools.
  • Must be adept at gathering information from various sources with the ability to analyze data and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Ability to stoop, push, pull, bend, reach, and lift up to 50 lbs. regularly.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • 10 years 3PL warehouse management experience
  • Up to 30% travel is required for training, company events, customer interaction, break/fix, and or site visits.
  • WMS and handheld scanner experience.
  • Must obtain Industrial Truck Certification through in-house training.
  • Must have experience operating forklifts and the ability to obtain Trainer Certification.
  • Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • PPE as required by each facility – refer to handbook for specific requirements.
