With a strong reputation, loyal membership base, and an energetic team culture, this is an excellent opportunity for a leader who is ready to take full ownership of a thriving club and drive it to even greater success. 💼 Position: General Manager 📍 Location: GymWorks Chorley 💷 Salary: Competitive + excellent bonus structure 🕐 Working Hours: Flexible (set by the General Manager) 🔑 Key Responsibilities: • Lead, motivate, and manage a high-performing team across fitness and front-of-house • Drive overall business performance, including memberships, PT revenue, and secondary spend • Deliver outstanding member experience and maintain high retention levels • Ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and facility presentation • Oversee daily operations including staffing, rotas, stock control, and maintenance • Manage recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing team development • Execute sales strategies and support local marketing initiatives • Ensure full compliance with health & safety and company policies • Monitor KPIs and report performance to senior leadership • Act as a brand ambassador within the local community ✅ Requirements: Essential: • Management or team leadership experience in a fast-paced environment • Fitness industry background • Proven track record in sales and target achievement • Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills • DBS check (or willingness to obtain one) • Full UK driving licence Desirable: • First Aid certification 💪 Why Join GymWorks?
