For start in April 2025 we are looking for a General Manager (m/w/d) Clubmanager for our wonderful Aspria club in Hamburg Uhlenhorst.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • A leader who can both think strategically and set the direction for their teams but also roll their sleeves to implement plans and break down barriers on the ground.
  • Play an active role within the senior management team to shape long term strategic goals.
  • Effective setting, forecasting and managing of club budgets, ensuring club revenue and profitability are maximized.
  • Maximize club revenues by optimising commercial activities across all departments, ensuring that targets and yield are met and effective cost control across all direct functional departments is in place.
  • You will coach, develop and oversee your Heads of Departments (Spa, Wellbeing, F&B, Kids Club Academy, Hotel, etc.) to be strong managers and role models for their own teams.
Responsibilities

The Aspria Group is searching for an inspirational General Manager (m/w/d) for this impressive club to lead a talented team and deliver outstanding services to our members. You will report directly to the Operations Manager for Germany in Head Office (London) and be responsible for maximizing club growth and profitability and the efficient and effective running of the club. The General Manager (m/w/d) will be an ambassador for Aspria while forging strong relationships with members, employees and key stakeholders. You will of course need to adhere to brand standards, legal compliance and live the Aspria values at all times.

You will play a key role in shaping the direction of the club and setting the long-term strategic goals for the business. In addition you will also be responsible for:

  • Coaching and developing the Head of Departments to be strong managers and role models for their own teams
  • Develop the yearly business plan & budget for the club and ensures revenue and projects are on time and to budget.
  • Maximise club revenues by optimising commercial activities across all departments, ensuring that targets and yield are met and effective cost control across all direct functional departments is in place.
  • Manage club operations, safely whilst ensuring effective delivery and member service on a daily basis.
  • Reporting to the Operations Manager Germany.
  • Occasional travel to other Clubs in Europe or Head Office in London.

With a busy schedule, you will need to be proficient in managing teams and stakeholders to orchestrate all activities around your clubs.
