SEPTEMBER 20 – NOVEMBER 1 | WEDNESDAY–SUNDAY AVAILABILITY REQUIRED

Maize in the City, Colorado’s favorite fall festival, is looking for 4–6 General Managers (Site Managers) to lead seasonal operations onsite! This is a hands-on, field-based leadership role ideal for individuals who are highly organized, proactive, and passionate about creating memorable experiences for families and our team.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Onsite Management (Wed–Sun): Oversee daily field operations across assigned sections of the Maize in the City festival.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise seasonal event staff, assign roles, monitor performance, and support a positive work culture.
  • Scheduling & Staffing: Create and manage shift schedules, ensure all zones are fully staffed and supported.
  • Site Preparation: Oversee the setup, readiness, and daily maintenance of specific festival zones before gates open.
  • Quality Assurance: Verify that team members are performing duties to standard and assist with any issues as they arise.
  • Guest Experience: Ensure the site is running smoothly and safely to provide an unforgettable experience for every visitor.

Requirements:

  • Must be available Wednesday–Sunday during the full festival season (September 20 – November 1).
  • Proven experience in team leadership or event operations is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to manage staff schedules, handle day-of logistics, and communicate clearly across departments.
  • Physically able to be outdoors for extended periods and perform light setup or breakdown duties.
  • Must be proactive, dependable, and thrive in a fast-paced, family-friendly environment.
