The Opportunity
This 12 Month Fixed Term Parental Leave opportunity as our Interim General Manager of Marketing encompasses the overall responsibility for the delivery of our global strategic plan in New Zealand. Executing the marketing strategy to increase market share and deliver profitable growth in the short and long term. Delivering consistent, brand-aligned marketing designed collateral and experience across all products and customer touch points for Market.
It is a highly specialised senior leadership role that will implement the global brand strategy in alignment with business model innovation and optimisation strategy. It is a role aimed to execute go to market channels for Fisher & Paykel and Haier Appliances and contribute to the achievement of our brands strengths.
This is where you come in
You will lead a team of Marketing Managers and Design Development Managers to execute the marketing strategy to drive customer acquisition, retention and lead generation. Driving continuous process improvement, you will enhance cross functionality and measurable marketing effectiveness of the marketing strategy. You will be the primary liaison with sales, customer experience, product management and global marketing to ensure effective in-market delivery of Marketing strategies and tactics.

We are changing fast, and the market is changing with us, so you will need to have a digitally focused forward thinking approach to be at the forefront of engaging our future customers.
So who are you?
You’ll be a focused leader with senior leadership experience in a marketing role, you will understand premium brands and may have experience specifically in durable goods and with manufacturing companies.
You will collaborate with our in-house Global Marketing team to ensure alignment on market strategy execution. You will clearly understand our customer persona and know the right levers to pull to engage them, whilst keeping your finger on the pulse of how we change to continuously connect with our customers across our brands.
You will be able to perform at a very high level both strategically and operationally, with a passion for driving global strategy, putting structured plans in place to achieve our strategic imperatives and have a strong financial understanding as well as analytical skills. You’ll possess an ability to develop and apply the best commercial and financial solution for the right situation, increasing market share. You’ll provide insights through analytics, understanding and focusing on what creates whole of business value.
You will have expertise in the media landscape and familiarity with D2C (Direct-to-Consumer) channel strategies. You will have the ability to adapt and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, be decisive and able to advise and guide a team in the right direction.
