QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 7–10 years of experience in mechanical services, facilities management, or related industry leadership roles
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems for both project and maintenance agreements
  • Proven track record in sales strategy, operations management, and team leadership
  • Experience with budgeting, pricing, and profitability management
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Willingness to travel as needed
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. and able to pass background/drug screening
Responsibilities

ROLE SUMMARY:

The General Manager will be responsible for achieving planned growth, profit, maintenance base, and customer retention goals through strong leadership, operational oversight, and team development. This role requires expertise in mechanical systems, sales strategy, operational management, and customer relationship building, ensuring all commitments are met efficiently and to the highest standards.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead, manage, and develop staff to meet annual growth, profit, and retention targets
  • Oversee project and maintenance agreement execution to ensure high-quality, timely, and cost-effective delivery
  • Establish and implement pricing, purchasing, and budgetary policies
  • Direct sales strategy development, training, and execution to achieve booking goals
  • Manage escalation policies to ensure customer retention while maintaining profitability
  • Monitor billing, collections, and cash flow to optimize financial performance
  • Foster strong internal collaboration and maintain productive external relationships with clients, vendors, and partners
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, EEO laws, and safety regulations
  • Develop and execute annual business plans and market penetration strategies
  • Provide guidance on field productivity, workforce utilization, and schedule management
