QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

We’re looking for a dynamic, driven leader with the vision and skills to inspire teams and deliver exceptional results. You’ll bring a commercial mindset, operational expertise, and a passion for conservation and community.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • A proven track record in senior leadership roles, ideally at GM level within tourism, entertainment, or guest-focused sectors.
  • Exceptional people leadership, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team to deliver amazing guest experiences.
  • Strong commercial acumen, including expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and driving profitability while maintaining a guest-first approach.
  • Strategic thinking with hands-on operational experience, enabling you to balance day-to-day management with long-term growth planning.
  • Commitment to health, safety, and security, ensuring the well-being of guests and team members at all times.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, fostering collaboration across teams, partners, and the local community.
  • Passion for sustainability and conservation, with the ability to champion SEA LIFE’s mission to protect marine life and the environment.
  • Understanding of Weymouth’s unique culture and community dynamics is a bonus.
