OVERVIEW:

Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead mechanical service operations across Pennsylvania and West Virginia. This leadership role encompasses both operational oversight and strategic sales development, with a focus on delivering high-quality service across maintenance, project execution, and client support. The position involves regular travel to branch offices, job sites, and customer facilities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or technical certification required; a bachelor’s degree in management or mechanical engineering is preferred.
  • Minimum of five years’ experience in mechanical service operations, including facility management.
  • At least three years in a maintenance leadership role, with exposure to preventive maintenance, energy management, and contract administration.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems and industry best practices.
  • Experience in sales and client development is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in management systems and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and adapt to changing demands.
Responsibilities

  • Mentor and guide team members through coaching, performance planning, and goal setting.

  • Build and maintain a skilled and motivated team to support service delivery and business expansion.
  • Oversee recruitment and talent development to meet current and future operational needs.
