Job Description With responsibility for operational strategy, store execution, labour optimisation, continuous improvement and store development, this integral role ensures our stores deliver commercial performance, productivity and an outstanding customer experience. Reporting to the CEO – Noel Leeming, key responsibilities include: Strategic Leadership & transformation Set and execute the strategic direction for the national store network Deliver sales, growth and profitability targets Translate business strategy into clear, executable store-level plans Lead large-scale operational change initiatives that improve productivity and customer outcomes Customer experience & store performance Elevate store presentation, layout and in-store engagement standards Partner with Merchandise and Marketing teams to deliver promotional excellence Leadership & Capability Build and lead a high performing leadership team Role model leadership behaviours – Humble, Hungry, Smart Strengthen capability across the network through structured development and succession planning Foster a culture of accountability, ownership and continuous improvement Qualifications You are a commercially astute retail executive with deep expertise in leading complex, multisite operations. An outcomes focused leader, you bring pace with precision - setting clear direction, inspiring high performing teams, and consistently delivering results at scale. We foresee you will bring the following: Significant senior leadership experience within a complex retail environment Proven success leading geographically dispersed store networks A strong track record of delivering sales growth and operational transformation Advanced financial and commercial acumen Deep understanding of retail industry trends and evolving customer expectations Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills The ability to lead multiple strategic initiatives while maintaining operational discipline You are a commercially astute retail executive with deep expertise in multi-site operations.
