EXPERIENCE:

  • General Manager or Assistant GM: 2 years (required)
  • Hospitality Management: 3 years (preferred)
    Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
    Pay: £29,000.00-£34,000.00 per year

THE ROLE

This is a rare opportunity for someone looking to make their mark. As our General Manager, you won’t just run a restaurant—you’ll help build it. You’ll lead front-of-house operations, shape the guest journey, hire and train the team, and work closely with the Head Chef and founders to bring our vision to life.
Whether you’re an experienced GM or an Assistant GM ready to step up, you’ll be trusted to take ownership and grow with the business.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Pre-Opening Leadership – Support with venue set-up, recruitment, supplier negotiations and operational planning
  • Team Building & Management – Hire, train and lead the front-of-house team; foster a positive, high-performing culture
  • Guest Experience – Champion exceptional service and lead from the front with warmth, style and professionalism
  • Operational Oversight – Manage daily operations including rotas, bookings, supplier coordination and compliance
  • Commercial Acumen – Monitor budgets, revenue and costs; use data and insight to improve profitability
  • Brand & Community – Help establish the Yeatei brand locally; support marketing activity and community partnerships
