THE ROLE

We are seeking an experienced and motivated General Manager to lead our team and oversee the day-to-day operations of Porter’s. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader with a passion for hospitality, strong organisational skills, and the ability to drive both customer satisfaction and business growth.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage daily operations across bar, floor, kitchen and events.
• Lead, train, and motivate a diverse team to deliver outstanding service.
• Oversee stock management, ordering, and cost controls.
• Ensure compliance with licensing, health & safety, and company standards.
• Drive sales and profitability through events, promotions, and customer engagement.
• Handle recruitment, scheduling, and performance management.
• Act as the face of the business, maintaining strong customer, supplier and community relationships.
