Description

Centurion Canada Ltd. is an integrated supplier of rental equipment and services for critical industries. Our product lines include mobile cranes, wastewater treatment systems and operations, accommodation, track hoe packages, power generation, communications, heavy equipment, and solar powered zero venting wellsite services. We service remote work camps, well sites, completion locations, and facilities in Western Canada.
We are seeking a strategic, operationally minded, and motivated individual to lead the Power & Equipment business line. This position plays a critical role in overseeing Centurion’s track hoe fleet, fluid storage and transfer infrastructure (tank farms), and security personnel. As the General Manager, Power & Equipment, you will drive all aspects of the business line, including operational excellence, business development, leadership, and financial performance. Reporting to the Director, Power & Equipment, the General Manager will play a pivotal role in driving growth, customer satisfaction, and maintaining Centurion’s reputation for execution and integrity.
The successful candidate will bring a balance of technical/operational knowledge, leadership capability, and business acumen to drive performance, client satisfaction, and optimize asset utilization.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 8+ years of experience in oilfield equipment rental, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of heavy equipment (e.g., track hoes), fluid management systems, or relevant operations.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing high-performing teams.
  • Proven track record of driving business growth and operational excellence.
  • Above average proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with financial software is an asset (e.g., QuickBooks).

  • Develop and execute the strategic plan for Power & Equipment, aligning with the company’s overall visionand objectives.
  • Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive dynamics.
  • Lead business development efforts in collaboration with the sales team to secure new contracts and maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities.
  • Build and lead a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
  • Ensure efficient and effective delivery of equipment and service.
  • Provide mentorship, training, and development opportunities to team members.
  • Drive revenue growth while maintaining strong margins.
  • Prepare and manage the business line’s budget, ensuring profitability and cost-effectiveness.
  • Analyze financial reports and key performance indicators to make informed decisions.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
