About us Your mission: As General Manager R&D, you will take full responsibility for our Romanian development hub and play a key role in shaping its future growth. You will ensure efficient site operations, foster a high-performing engineering culture, and act as the bridge between our local teams and headquarters. This is a dedicated leadership position with significant impact on the success and scalability of our global R&D organization. Your Tasks In this role, you will oversee all operational, financial, and organizational aspects of our Romanian entity while driving collaboration, transparency, and sustainable growth. Take full operational, organizational, financial, and legal responsibility for our Romanian subsidiary Represent the company towards local authorities, banks, and external partners and ensure compliance with labor, tax, and corporate regulations Own and manage the site budget, including forecasting, cost control, payroll oversight, and close alignment with HQ Finance Lead, coach, and develop our local R&D organization, fostering engagement, accountability, and long-term talent retention Partner with Talent Acquisition and HQ stakeholders to attract, hire, and onboard top engineering talent Build scalable team structures and leadership capabilities aligned with business objectives Coordinate local R&D activities and ensure alignment with product roadmaps, priorities, resources, and delivery expectations Promote transparency by proactively communicating progress, risks, dependencies, and capacity planning Cultivate a collaborative, trust-based, and performance-oriented engineering culture Strengthen collaboration between Engineering, Product Management, and headquarters while identifying and removing organizational bottlenecks You want to save the world with us?
