Description Lead a High-Volume Airport Operation Bambuza Hospitality Group is seeking a General Manager to lead two concepts at Salt Lake City International Airport: • Bambuza Vietnam Kitchen & Bar (full-service) • The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf (quick-service) This role oversees approximately 30 team members and is responsible for full ownership of operations, financial performance, and team leadership. Airport restaurants operate in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with consistent demand — ideal for leaders who thrive on accountability, complexity, and hands-on execution. What You’ll Be Responsible For Operations & Financial Performance • Own and manage key metrics: sales, labor %, cost of goods, and waste • Build and manage schedules to align staffing with demand • Oversee inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships • Ensure strong execution of cash handling, safety, and security procedures • Maintain a consistent presence in the business across all dayparts Team Leadership • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team • Set clear expectations and hold team members accountable • Provide real-time coaching, feedback, and recognition • Lead by example during peak periods — including stepping into operations when needed Guest Experience & Brand Standards • Ensure every guest receives fast, consistent, high-quality service • Maintain strict adherence to food safety and sanitation standards • Uphold brand standards across both concepts • Monitor cleanliness, product quality, and service execution daily Compliance & Airport Operations • Ensure full compliance with airport regulations, lease requirements, and health department standards • Manage airport badging, security requirements, and documentation • Maintain strong working relationships with airport partners and vendors Requirements What We’re Looking For: • 3–5+ years of restaurant management experience (multi-unit or high-volume preferred) • Proven ability to manage both people and financial performance • Strong leadership presence — able to direct a shift and run a business • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, operationally complex environment • Clear and professional communication skills Certifications & Requirements: • Must be 21+ years old • Must obtain Food Handler and Alcohol Service permits prior to start • Must pass federal background check and meet airport badging requirements Schedule Expectations • 5-day work week with variable schedule • Must be available for early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays • Expected to work across all dayparts as needed to support the business Benefits • Health, dental, and vision insurance (HSA, FSA options available) • 401(k) with company match • Paid time off and paid holidays • Life and AD&D insurance • Employee Assistance Program • Ongoing training and development opportunities Apply Today If you’re ready to take ownership of a multi-unit operation and grow with a company that is expanding, we’d like to meet you.
