We are seeking an experienced and energetic General Manager to lead operations at our new high-volume sports bar in Austin. This is a unique opportunity for a proven leader with strong local sports bar experience to build, manage, and grow one of the city’s top game-day destinations.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day operations of a fast-paced, high-volume sports bar.
• Recruit, hire, train, and manage front-of-house and back-of-house staff.
• Maintain high standards of service, cleanliness, and customer satisfaction.
• Manage bar and kitchen inventory, ordering, and vendor relations.
• Oversee scheduling for staff, TVs, and live sports events to maximize guest experience.
• Develop and execute promotional events and game-day specials.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and TABC regulations.
• Monitor financial performance, budgets, and cost controls to drive profitability.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3+ years of management experience in a high-volume Austin sports bar (experience with concepts like Armadillo Den, Chalmers, IncaHoots, or similar strongly preferred).
• Proven track record of staff hiring, training, and team leadership in a bar or restaurant setting.
• Strong knowledge of sports (NFL, NBA, MLB, NCAA, etc.) and ability to create engaging TV and event schedules.
• Solid background in inventory management, vendor relations, and cost control.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Flexible schedule with availability on evenings, weekends, and game days.
