MAIN QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor degree in Engineering
  • Basic knowledge of machine tools, metal cutting technologies etc.
  • Minimum 5 years Application and/or Sales experience related to machine tools or other industrial Capital Equipment
  • Basic understanding of commercial and financial principals is also required as well as basic computer skills and software knowledge
  • Must have good listening, communication, presentation and negotiation skills
  • Must have high degree of self-motivation and drive, high energy level to work in a highly technical and competitive environment
  • Must be Canada citizen

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering
  • 5 - 10 years of sales experience with industrial capital equipment in the aerospace or oil & gas industry
  • High aptitude and resolve to work and contribute to a team environment
  • German language knowledge (not a requirement)
  • Fluent in French
  • Prefer Greater Montreal or Toronto area based candidate

Responsibilities
  • Maintain direct customer account responsibility to call on, build relationships with, develop and handle opportunities for WFL business
  • Aggressively seek new business and new customer relationships directly or indirectly through local sales representatives
  • Coordinate activities within Canada and be responsive to customer project needs
  • Coordinate sales support activities with Head of Sales and Application Engineers in the preparation and submittal of proposals applicable to the respective accounts/area of responsibility
  • Coordinate via direct involvement project negotiations of final technical requirements and commercial terms applicable to a potential order, along with other expert support staff
  • Perform reporting tasks in Salesforce and other tasks as assigned and maintain organizational maps for assigned customer base
  • Coordinate all commercial activities for the newly found Canadian subsidiary of WFL Millturn Technologies
  • Willingness to travel frequently in designated sales area and occasionally to Austrian HQ – 50-75%
