We are supporting our client, a leading Electric Vehicle (EV) manufacturing company, in hiring a General Manager – Sales for their Stockholm location. Language- Fluent in English and Swedish Position Overview The General Manager – Sales will lead and expand sales operations in Stockholm and the broader Swedish market for a fast-growing global electric mobility and technology company. This role is responsible for developing sales strategies, building partnerships, driving market growth, and ensuring a superior customer experience. The ideal candidate is a dynamic sales leader with deep automotive or EV industry knowledge and a strong track record in scaling regional sales performance. Key Responsibilities Sales Strategy & Leadership Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve annual revenue, volume, and market-share goals. Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team to deliver consistent performance and best-in-class customer engagement. Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer insights to support strategic decision-making. Dealer & Network Development Build and maintain strong relationships with retail dealers, service partners, fleet operators, and leasing companies. Monitor dealer performance to ensure alignment with brand standards and implement improvement plans when needed. Support expansion of the regional sales and service network throughout Stockholm and nearby markets. Business Development & Key Accounts Drive fleet sales with corporate clients, government institutions, mobility operators, and charging/energy partners. Lead negotiations for high-value deals, tenders, and long-term agreements. Sales Operations & Performance Management Establish effective sales processes, KPIs, and forecasting systems. Ensure timely reporting of sales activities, pipeline updates, market feedback, inventory status, and budgeting. Collaborate with marketing, aftersales, product, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless customer experience. Brand, Compliance & Customer Experience Ensure consistent brand representation across all customer touchpoints. Comply with Swedish regulatory requirements and internal operational guidelines. Support regional product launches, promotional events, and local brand-building initiatives. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred. 10+ years of progressive experience in sales leadership, ideally within the automotive or electric mobility sector. Strong understanding of the Swedish automotive, EV, dealer, and fleet sales landscape. Proven success in leading teams, managing budgets, and delivering strong commercial results. Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. Fluency in English required; Swedish language proficiency strongly preferred.
