POSITION OVERVIEW:

The General Manager will oversee all aspects of our operations, ensuring smooth day-to-day function, exceptional guest experiences, and a positive, motivated team. You’ll work closely with guides, office staff, and management to coordinate tours, manage logistics, and uphold our high safety and service standards.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proven leadership and management experience, preferably in tourism, outdoor recreation, or hospitality.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Knowledge of outdoor adventure activities and safety standards (kayaking experience a plus).
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays during peak season.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

• Oversee daily operations and ensure tours run efficiently and on time.
• Manage and mentor a team of guides and support staff.
• Monitor safety procedures and ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
• Handle scheduling, staffing, and resource allocation.
• Maintain strong guest satisfaction by addressing feedback and resolving issues promptly.
• Oversee equipment maintenance and inventory.
• Coordinate with marketing and sales to maximize bookings and promote services.
• Assist in budget management and cost control.
