EXPERIENCE:

  • Proven experience as a General Manager in a high-volume bar or hospitality setting, with a focus on beverage programs and customer service.
  • Deep knowledge and passion for whiskey and spirits, with the ability to educate both staff and customers.
  • Strong background in financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and profit margin optimization.
  • Proficient in using point-of-sale (POS) systems and other management software.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a team, with a focus on creating a positive and productive work environment.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with a focus on driving business results.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with staff, vendors, and guests.

    Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Lead and inspire the bar team.
  • Deliver strong financial results.
  • Build a culture of craft, care, and hospitality.
  • Create whiskey experiences that honor tradition and push forward.

DUTIES:

  • Operations Management: Oversee all aspects of Seven Grand’s daily operations, including bar management, customer service, and special events, ensuring a seamless and exceptional experience for every guest.
  • Profitability & Growth: Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth, optimize profit margins, and control costs, including labor, inventory, and operational expenses.
  • Beverage Program Excellence: Collaborate with bartenders and associates to curate and maintain an industry-leading whiskey selection and cocktail menu that enhances the guest experience and drives revenue.
  • Leadership & Team Development: Supervise, mentor, and develop bar staff, including bartenders, servers, and support staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching.
  • Inventory & Supplier Relations: Manage inventory levels, purchasing, and vendor relationships to ensure the highest quality products while minimizing waste and controlling costs.
  • Compliance & Safety: Ensure all operations adhere to health and safety regulations, including alcohol service laws, and maintain a clean, safe, and inviting environment for both staff and guests.
  • Marketing & Community Engagement: Work closely with the marketing team to create and execute campaigns that attract new guests and retain regulars, emphasizing Seven Grand’s unique brand and community ties. Host and coordinate events that drive traffic and enhance the bar’s reputation.
  • Financial Analysis: Monitor and analyze sales data, labor costs, and other key financial metrics to make informed decisions that improve operational efficiency and profitability.
  • Customer Experience: Ensure that all staff deliver exceptional service, consistently exceeding guest expectations, and maintaining Seven Grand’s reputation as a top whiskey destination.
