The General Manager, South Korea leads the full country P&L with commercial accountability across companion and farm animal portfolios. This role exists to define and execute a market-relevant strategy that captures Korea’s rapid companion animal health market growth and strengthens Virbac’s commercial impact in farm animals, especially swine. Within 12–18 months, the GM should have established a clear strategic roadmap, delivered measurable commercial performance versus plan, strengthened brand and vet partner engagement, and elevated operational execution excellence. Success combines customer-centric commercial growth, operational discipline, and high-impact leadership. Key Accountabilities P&L & Strategy Own total country P&L performance with full responsibility for budgeting, forecasting, and financial outcomes. Define and implement a differentiated country commercial strategy that balances long-term growth and near-term execution. Translate global/area/regional priorities into locally executable plans. Commercial Excellence (Sales) Lead sales strategy for companion and farm animal segments with a focus on key accounts and channel expansion. Build and optimize sales force effectiveness (SFE) and key account management (KAM) capabilities. Institute disciplined sales performance management with metrics and forecasting accuracy. Marketing & Demand Generation Develop a localized marketing strategy that drives vet preference and owner engagement. Oversee brand and product positioning, digital activation, and communication strategies. Align cross-functional marketing and field efforts to maximize ROI. Portfolio / Lifecycle / Pricing & Value Manage product lifecycle and pricing strategies based on competitive and value-based insights. Optimize portfolio mix to balance mature brands with innovation opportunities. Farm Animal Expansion & Technical Credibility Provide commercial leadership in swine health solutions and herd-level value propositions. Engage technical stakeholders (vets, integrators) to influence product adoption and practice conversion (market data on swine vaccines not confirmed from public sources in this draft). People Leadership & Culture Build a high-performance, diverse, and inclusive organization with strong leadership capability and talent pipelines. Promote a culture of accountability, learning agility, and cross-functional collaboration. Governance / Compliance / Risk Ensure compliance with all regulatory, quality, and corporate governance standards in Korea. Manage risk, escalation protocols, and crisis response readiness.
