QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven track record of executive leadership in the healthcare industry, preferably in the surgical or medical device sector
  • Strong understanding of business operations and the ability to analyze and implement successful business strategies.
  • Strong communication and people leadership skills, able to establish and nurture relationships with a wide range of individuals.
  • Demonstrated drive and proactive approach, with a proven ability to excel in a highly competitive market
  • Fluent in Italian and English, both written and spoken
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required

Responsibilities

This executive role is a great opportunity for a highly motivated individual to lead and drive growth for our best-in-class surgical vision business. As the General Manager, you will have the chance to shape the future of our business and make a lasting impact for patients in the field of surgical vision.

You will be responsible for:

  • Lead all aspects of the overall commercial operations and performance of the Surgical Vision business in Italy.
  • Develop and implement a strategic business plan to drive profitable growth and exceed sales and profit targets.
  • Develop and lead a team that shares a strong purpose to advance the standard of care for patients, consistently demonstrates customer centricity, strong work ethics, while promoting a culture of collaboration and inclusivity that fosters innovation and excellence.
  • Build and nurture strong connections with various external and internal stakeholders, including Key Opinion Leaders and various health care professionals, cross-functional local, regional, and global partners.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to determine business opportunities and make informed decisions about strategic priorities and go-to-market model.
