Key Responsibilities As General Manager, you’ll play a critical role in bringing Bamboo Sushi’s vision to life. Your key responsibilities will include: Foster a culture of positivity and accountability. Drive operational excellence in food service and guest experience. Oversee all restaurant and bar operations to positively impact P&L. Drive, lead, and oversee all kitchen and sushi operations to positively impact P&L. Oversee critical quality control points for every menu item, as well as portioning and plating, to ensure dishes received by guests meet spec. Maintain a professional restaurant image for the location and business. Hire, train, and develop employees. Ensure quality control for menu items through timely expo and food delivery. Qualifications We’re looking for an experienced leader with a passion for hospitality. Here’s what you’ll need: Two or more years of management experience leading a restaurant and management team in a high-volume, full-service environment. Two or more years of management experience leading back-of-house (BoH) operations in a high-volume, full-service kitchen. Two or more years of experience in food and beverage, with a preference for upscale concepts. Passion for guest service and culinary knowledge preferred. Valid Food Handler’s Card and Beverage Service Permit required. Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information professionally and discreetly.
