POSITION OVERVIEW

The General Service Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of day-to-day restaurant operations. This includes leading and developing the team, ensuring service excellence, managing scheduling and inventory, and monitoring costs. Acting as the key point of contact between staff, customers, and leadership, the General Service Manager plays a pivotal role in upholding Tejano’s brand standards and driving operational success.
The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about hospitality, with experience in both customer-facing and operational leadership roles within restaurants or quick-serve concepts.

GUEST EXPERIENCE & SERVICE STANDARDS

  • Ensure every guest receives friendly, efficient, and consistent service.
  • Monitor and maintain cleanliness, speed of service, and overall atmosphere.
  • Handle guest feedback and resolve service issues with professionalism.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2+ years of supervisory or management experience in restaurants, quick-serve, or hospitality.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Highly organized, reliable, and able to thrive in a high-volume environment.
  • Proficient with POS systems, Google Suite (Gmail, Sheets, Drive, Calendar).
  • Bilingual (English/French).

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 2 ans d’expérience en supervision ou en gestion dans la restauration, la restauration rapide ou l’hôtellerie.
  • Excellentes compétences en leadership et en gestion d’équipe.
  • Solides aptitudes en communication et en résolution de problèmes.
  • Grande organisation, fiabilité et capacité à performer dans un environnement à fort volume.
  • Maîtrise des systèmes de caisse (POS) et logiciels de planification.
  • Bilingue (français/anglais).
