The Skinny Pancake, a Vermont-based local food creperie, is seeking an experienced, positive, and proactive General Manager to join our team in Albany, NY!

This role will begin in an Assistant General Manager (AGM) capacity, with the intention of transitioning into the full GM role within 6-12 months. GENERAL MANAGER QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 4 years of restaurant management experience (with a minimum of 2 years as a General Manager)
  • Kitchen Management/Culinary Experience
  • NRA ServSafe Manager preferred
  • Availability to work onsite (5) 8-10 hour shifts between the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., including weekends and holidays
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working with a P&L statement
  • Previous experience with inventory management including purchasing, receiving and cost control
  • Ability to learn and train others on all aspects of the operation
  • Ability to drive hospitality and inspire others to do so
  • Must be able to coach and develop others effectively
  • Experience in a high-volume, fast-paced environment is preferred
  • Business or relevant degree preferred
