Baker Chevrolet Buick of Coopersville is seeking a Working General Manager with a strong background in variable operations to lead our dealership to the next level.
This is not a desk job. We want someone who is on the floor, working deals, coaching the team, and ensuring every customer gets the management attention they deserve — a personal hello and a handshake on the way in, and a thank-you on the way out.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work deals directly with the sales team to maximize gross and close rates
• Lead and inspect processes in sales, F&I, and used vehicle management
• Ensure every customer interaction includes a manager’s personal involvement
• Build, train, and motivate a high-performance team through accountability and mentorship
• Drive dealership profitability with a laser focus on volume, gross, and penetration
• Partner with service and fixed ops leadership but maintain heavy emphasis on variable
