JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience in a managerial role within the restaurant or hospitality sector is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
  • Experience in team management with the ability to motivate and lead diverse teams effectively.
  • Familiarity with bartending practices is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily operations of the restaurant and/or hotel to ensure smooth functioning and high-quality service.
  • Manage and supervise kitchen staff, bartenders, and service teams to maintain a cohesive work environment.
  • Implement food safety standards and ensure compliance with health regulations.
  • Assist in food preparation as needed and maintain high standards of food quality.
  • Develop training programmes for new employees and ongoing training for existing staff to enhance skills in hospitality and customer service.
  • Handle customer complaints and feedback professionally to ensure satisfaction.
  • Monitor inventory levels and manage supply orders to ensure adequate stock without overordering.
  • Prepare reports on operational performance, including sales figures, staff performance, and customer satisfaction metrics.
