Hours: Sunday 8a-2p Monday 4p-10p Tuesday 4p-10p Performs skilled maintenance and repairs and a variety of maintenance and engineering duties for the Facilities Management Department. Assigned to work by the Facilities Management Staff on a regular basis. In addition, this position is called upon to work on projects with other trade mechanics, make rounds and report discrepancies to the Director of Facilities or any Facilities Management Staff. This position will assist with work to ensure that work orders and preventative maintenance work are corrected in a timely and cost-effective manner. Has a general working knowledge of areas of maintenance and repair. This position performs other general maintenance responsibilities not directly related to designated or licensed trade and works independently. Maintains and Performs equipment troubleshooting, preventative maintenance and complex repairs equipment and other facility related equipment and structures. Education High School Diploma or Equivalent Required Trade School in any trade Preferred Experience 2 years experience in General Maintenance or related Required Licenses Drivers License Required
Responsibilities
The General Mechanic performs skilled maintenance and repairs for the Facilities Management Department and assists with work orders and preventative maintenance. This position also collaborates with other trade mechanics and reports discrepancies to the Director of Facilities.
