SUMMARY
This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific eligibility requirements per VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment. Program Approval, award amount (up to $200,000) & eligibility period (one to five years) are determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services program office after review of the EDRP application. Former EDRP participants ineligible to apply.

The full performance level of this vacancy is GS-13. The actual grade at which an applicant may be selected for this vacancy is in the range of GS-11 to GS-13.

DUTIES
The Incumbent works within the General Mental Health Team serving as a Clinical or Counseling Psychologist. Incumbent works closely with members of General Mental Health Team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, licensed professional mental health counselors, peer specialists, and nurses to provide assessment, psychotherapy, and mental health support for complex cases. The work is comprised of providing clinical services consistent with accepted standards of ethical and professional mental health treatment.
OTHER SIGNIFICANT RESPONSIBILITIES (5% TIME)
Clinical Responsibilities (85% of time) - will be completed under clinical supervision of a licensed psychologist if incumbent is unlicensed.
