ALL ABOUT THE ROLE

Based at our Newry site, we have a role available for a Yard Operative. Based outside; the purpose of this role is to ensure customers’ orders are fulfilled whilst operating in a fast-paced environment. This will be done whilst adhering to company Health & Safety standards.

MAIN TASKS COULD INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

• Pick computer generated orders.
• Accurately record stock movement and usage, along with product identification numbers.
• Transferring stock onto trailers, off trailers and to its location using side loader trucks, cranes and forklifts.
• Maintain high levels of Health and Safety.
• Work efficiently and effectively as part of a team and on your own.
• Be adaptable and flexible in approach to work to meet operational requirements

ESSENTIAL SKILLS FOR THE ROLE:

• The successful candidate will have experience as a warehouse/yard operative.
• Fork-Lift and Side-loader is desirable but not essential.
• Have a flexible attitude, be results oriented, and enjoy working in a team environment.
• Health & Safety awareness.
• Driving Licence preferred
