Unlin Insulation (Ballyconnell, Co Cavan) is currently recruiting for a General Operative. As a General Operative you will be required complete all tasks to a high standard by constantly challenging the status quo and be at the forefront of evolution, continuous improvement, quality and health, safety & welfare.

• Complete training in the role of a General Operative
• Keep good housekeeping standards in all areas
• Keep up to date knowledge of all products
• Ensure waste is discarded in appropriate manner.
• Ensure you comply with Health & Safety regulations
• Ensure all data to be recorded is accurate and up to date
• Drive your work flow to ensure the team you are working with is working to a high standard and meeting targets
• Setting up of any machine to ensure start up is completed on time
• Communicate with Shift coordinators/Leaders of any issues in your area.
• Cover designated roles when required
• Ensure a continuous flow of knowledge, ideas and solutions to problems to your shift leader, polymer engineer to ensure minimum amount of down time
• Work and communicate with other member of the team to ensure transfer of information with regard to your role
• Ensure quality guidelines are followed for all areas
