OVERVIEW

We are looking for a skilled and reliable General Operative Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all traffic regulations and safety protocols. This would be driving 3.5 tonne Luton box vehicle and a 7.5 tonne vehicle. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to manage routes efficiently.
Salary: Negotiable
Hours of Work: 8.30am – 5pm Monday to Friday

SKILLS

·C1 Category License?
· Up-to-date CPC
· Good level of physical fitness in order to safely undertake the demanding requirements of the role
· Ability to work to deadlines and targets, and to effectively prioritise own workload
· Flexible with working hours
· Can-do attitude in their approach to work
· Exemplary customer service skills
· Good timekeeping and attendance.
· Previous experience of commercial driving an advantage
· Possess a full, clean UK driving licence.

· Communicate effectively with transport office and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues
· Maintaining good vehicle cleanliness and completing daily vehicle checks
· Adhere to all company policies, traffic laws and safety regulations while on the road
· Handle, load, unload, deliver and set in place a wide variety of goods and detergents
· Handling delivery dockets, paperwork and on some occasions cash
· Avoiding damages to stock through proper manual handling and secure strapping
· Any other duties required by management.
