SUMMARY

We are seeking a General Operative to join our dynamic team at our FTB site in Melton Mowbray across a range of shifts. This role is essential for supporting our pre cast concrete bridge beams. You will be part of a team producing pre cast concrete bridge beams which will be transported to sites around the UK.

REQUIREMENTS

• You will ideally have experience gained in the construction sector supported with CSCS / CPCS Cards.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Strong commitment to safety practices on site.
• Willingness to learn new skills and take on varied tasks.

Work Location: In perso

· Concrete mould preparation and general cleaning (Shopfloor housekeeping)
· Steel strand placement, tensioning and de-tensioning
· Basic maintenance of mechanical components
· Operation of a steam curing system
· Loading vehicles (to include Slinging, Signalling and Lifting)
· Repairing beam imperfections (sanding, smoothing, levelling and texturing as well as applying curing and sealing compounds)
· Driving forklift trucks
· Operating Overhead Gantry Cranes
· Regular use of hand and small power tools will be required
· Regular attendance at and contribution to Daily Activity Briefings (DABs)
